Malunggay Green Shake Magic

I’ve been welcoming change into my life. I’m currently transitioning into a new phase that’s more healthy, conscious and whole! The motivation for all of this is keeping myself in top shape mentally and physically to evolve my life in the world of entrepreneurship (I am starting my own creative agency!) It’s scary and exciting, but I love this journey. I told myself if I want to succeed, I would have to be mindful of my health so I turn on the productivity. One way that keeps me energized and productive throughout the day is starting my morning with a malunggay green shake!

What is Malunggay?

Malunggay is also known as moringa oleifera (Ben Tree, Drumstick Tree, Horseradish Tree). It’s been used in Eastern countries to prevent many diseases. I grew up eating malunggay leaves in a Filipino dish called “Tinola”. I never knew all the benefits of eating this superfood! It is known to prevent diabetes, protect your cardiovascular system and supports brain health. Learn more here.

Malunggay Green Shake Recipe

For this green shake recipe, I keep it quick and easy! Feel free to experiment with different fruits and veggies that you like. Add an avocado for extra creamy texture. Yum!

1 cup ice

1 cup almond milk

1 cup spinach

1 banana

1 tsp moringa powder

Add ingredients and blend it real good!
